Superb carbon fiber PLA!

If you've never used PLA carbon fiber before, you're missing out. This stuff is really amazing. In particular, this brand prints just like other carbon fiber PLAs I've tried and they're almost the same price. You may have to adjust the print settings the first time, but once you set them you're good to go again. Compared to traditional PLA, PLA-CF is much stronger, less flexible, and produces much more detailed and accurate prints, even at low-resolution print settings. On the other hand, I can use faster print speeds and higher layer heights, but still get prints that look like they were printed at a much higher resolution. Edges are sharp and precise. Layer adhesion is phenomenal, as is layer adhesion. Not fibrous at all. WHY IT'S SO AWESOME:* EASY to print - default layer, speed and resolution settings = insanely beautiful prints.* Excellent layer adhesion.* Finished product requires no post-processing.* Matte black is sexy.* STRONG and more durable than regular PLA * Great for Containers and more * Less dependent on rafts and edges due to excellent layer adhesion * Versatile * Durable * Precise - GREAT FOR TIGHT TOLERANCE PROJECTS RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE AND PRINT SPEED: * Layer temperature: 30-50°C* Extruder: 205-220°C* Speed: 50mm/sec REAL PRINT SETTINGS THAT WORK FOR ME:* Bed temp: 60°C* Extruder: 220°C* Speed: 60mm/s. is more sensitive to temperature and layer alignment than traditional PLA and also requires higher temperatures. In addition, this filament is less flexible than traditional plain PLA. I was having some issues with layer and layer adhesion until I increased the extruder temp to 220C / 60C and layer temp accordingly. After using these temperatures, the prints were excellent in every respect. So if you run into problems, just do a little research and you'll be producing quality prints again in no time. CONCLUSION: The end product is worth spending a little time finding the right settings for your printer. , and it's well worth the extra money compared to regular PLA, especially if you're printing things that require strength and tight tolerances.
