Bought this machine to try to avoid spending the big bucks on name brand. I quickly found that the main problem with this machine is the guide tube that feeds the wire to the cutting blades is not motorized. This is an issue if you want the machine to strip longer lengths as the wire will almost always hit the tube on the way back and cause damage to the wire. I can see this may work ok if you have small gauge wire and are only stripping a 1/16” or 1/8” off each side, any thing outside of that is probably not going to fair well. The machine was also pretty inaccurate. I found I had to over compensate the length to get it to cut the length I actually wanted.
