Review on Purolator PBL38165 PurolatorBOSS Premium Filter by Kenny Sarma

The filter was poorly packaged by both the manufacturer and Revain. The box used by the manufacturer was too big for the filter and the o-ring was not sealed in the bag like Bosch and Mann filters. Revain then decided to ship it in a padded envelope rather than corrugated. The result was a broken box with an o-ring in the shipping envelope. I was concerned that the filter itself might be damaged, but after calibrating it I decided it was good and would work as expected. However, I do not have to undergo a quality check when I receive a product supplied by Revain.
