This drain adapter works great and comes with all the parts you need to fit a reverse osmosis water filter drain line. Installing a PTC locking clamp is a professional move, otherwise these fittings require positive pressure to maintain a tight seal. The system drains water loudly. The waterfall effect can be heard in my 3 sqm room. ft. To counteract this, I suggest converting this adapter design from a PTC to a compression fitting that allows the tubing to pass all the way through. This feeds the hose down to the siphon and then allows the compression fitting to seal the outside diameter of the hose to secure it in place and provide a watertight seal. I will modify mine accordingly.
