Review on Microphone Loop Out Recorder Streaming Conference by Darrell Beecher

Walkthrough shaky? Catch approx

I bought this specifically to use all my retro consoles and PS4 over PC or TV. My old flat screen TV only supports 1080i max. This capture device (I bought a model/version no longer listed here, it's longer than wider, more rectangular) works well for output to my computer. My computer runs Linux and obs works fine on it, capturing video and audio as separate sources. When obs is opened before my systems are powered on, sometimes no sound is recorded, but closing/reopening obs fixes that. There is a horizontal line running top to bottom at times that looks like a weird sweep line, but I'm not sure if it's the encoder settings or the capture device. Changing the encoder fixes this and 3 out of 4 video encoders in obs work and all 3 have this "linear" problem. However, my TV does not typically receive a signal through a pass-through capture device. However, if I plug the PS4 directly into the TV and get an image, and then plug the PS4 back into the capture device, I can stream the image to the TV. It's really picky and I don't know why. My PS4 outputs 1080i directly, so I'm not sure if it's because of that or something else. I haven't checked my retro systems since discovering this, so I'm not sure if they have the same issue. I know the device takes retro into obs, but I haven't tested passthrough with retro stuff. All my retro stuff goes through RCA switches and gets converted to RCA to HDMI which outputs at 720p (again as my TV doesn't support 1080p). As for the capture side, I'm not sure if it's my computer or device, but there is evidence of input lag when using the Obs as my display (rather than turning on the TV and plugging/reconnecting things).
