Review on Upgraded Moroso Air/Oil Separator Catch Can Kit for Chrysler Dodge Hemi Cars, Model Years 2005-2015 by Jeff Westra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy installation on a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus in about half an hour by a beginner.

Kit arrived yesterday and I quickly finished my gardening and got to work. When I opened the box I found that all the parts had to be assembled. There are no instructions, just a parts list and a few photos on this paper. I found a great YouTube video that will show you all the pitfalls up front and save you installation time if you know. Here is the link: [.]. One thing you'll need but didn't include or mention is a roll of white tape. You can get this very cheaply at any hardware store if you don't already have it. So when assembling the parts, it's important to note that the screw in the parts is threaded so they don't screw all the way in, maybe 2.5 turns. Be sure to tape the threads with tape to ensure a secure seal. Fit the latch loosely and check the corners to the final position of the can in the engine bay, then tighten when you like it. My setup was on a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus. Setup and installation took about half an hour. I ended up using most of the supplied hoses, elbows and OEM hoses. Pros: Easy assembly and installation. Fits perfectly, drain is easily accessible. Item of very high quality. Cons: Build only but I understand why as each setup might be different in configuration and you want that flexibility. Thing. It comes down to paying for quality and a well known brand like Moroso offers this catch can. UPDATE: So I did my first oil change and emptied the catch tank. I was really surprised how easy it is to get under the sink and empty the water into a cut water bottle. No mess. No stress. = happy tourist. Added some pictures. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
