Essential for troubleshooting wiring problems

If you are the kind of person who likes to solve problems with wiring, telephone, antenna or anything else. This is a very handy pair of tools to add to your box. I just used them to trace a broken pair of wires in my home phone jacks and to trace an antenna wire from a pile of old antenna wires. For these projects alone, they have more than paid for themselves. Very easy to use and just make sure the wires you are working with are dead.

Pros

Easy to use. Wire Tracer: Connect the wire to the emitter through the alligator clips. Select "SCAN". The transmitter is functioning properly when the STATUS indicator is lit. Use the receiver to find the target wires. No need for multi-testers. Network cable check: Connect one end of the cable to the transmitter and the other end to the receiver. Select "TEST", the transmitter works correctly when the "VERIFY" indicator is on. Identify problems in a multi-wire circuit. No network tester required.
