The owner's manual says something about a strap on the front of the front seat cover that goes around the backrest. That wasn't enough for me. Also, I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue and the rear center seat belt rests directly on the cushion so the rear end completely covers it. Also, my rear seats are bolted in so I couldn't fully attach the hooks in the back, but I think I'm fine. I didn't expect there would be so many pieces on the back. But the end result looks great.
