My kids and I sat in quarantine and were disappointed when our snow melted instantly. My kids are small too, and it's a challenge to dress them up for snowball fights even when we have them. So yeah, I'm spending $30 on fake snowballs. SO WORTH. Our snowballs last forever. Nobody gets hurt. No mess will be made. Nothing breaks. Children get tired afterwards. I also tell them to put away their other toys before every snowball fight so they encourage them to take them with them. When we're done I'll make them count as we collect them to make sure we have them all, so let's learn too! We have a lot of fun and have probably played with them every other day since they arrived, except about 3 times in the first 2 days when it was a totally new concept. The balls are light enough that they can't do any damage (if you had something light and fragile it might break, but with three little boys we don't have that), but they still fly well through the air. They pick up hair and fluff and whatnot, but I don't think it matters much.
