I bought this latest surveillance system from TonTon. I have bought other models from them before. This is by far the easiest and quickest way to set up a home surveillance system. Once the network cables are run from the base unit (NVR) to each of the cameras, the system is intelligent enough to set itself up with minimal user intervention. There are many WiFi enabled cameras out there, but this is by far the best solution. The problem with Wi-Fi is that most cameras are high up and you need nearby outlets to power the cameras. Building a Wi-Fi part is counterproductive because you can't install it in ideal locations away from an outlet. The POE network cable you use allows you to place the camera anywhere with one cable per camera for video, network and power. This eliminates WiFi interference and limits video speed. These are all 1080P cameras and require the highest bandwidth possible, which Wi-Fi just can't do in less than ideal conditions. The hardware, including the NVR and cameras, is very reliable and well built. The cameras are easy to install and have enough pivot points to be mounted and viewed in any position. The cameras come with weatherproof network cable covers, so you don't have to worry about the weather damaging the cable ends. The cameras themselves are very solid and appear to be airtight. The phone app is very easy to set up. Just download the app and scan the barcode on the dashcam screen with your phone. Enter the username and password you set on the NVR and in a few seconds you can view your cameras online from anywhere you have internet access. The technical support is exceptional and that is what prompted me to write this review. I had a technical problem that did not affect the camera system. I called support not expecting much and was answered by a very polite representative who seemed genuinely concerned that all my questions and concerns were answered. I would highly recommend this camera system to anyone and am confident that any questions or concerns will be answered.
