Wrong color coding and connector doesn't fit right

This cowboy has hooked up more than one trailer in his life, love the clean install, soldered and glued connections that don't fail. I'm a detail specialist. Color codes for trailer wiring, couplers and plugs are available online. SO. Why would any company sell cables with the wrong colored wires going to the wrong pins? Also, the plug doesn't fit properly in the outlet. Who knows why the company can't decipher the color properly so I'm sending this piece of crap back and they can pay the cost and return shipping and get negative feedback.
