Review on 🚚 AMP Research 75412-01A BedStep2: The Perfect Retractable Truck Bed Side Step for 2015-2018 Ford F-150 with 5.5' Bed, Black (Large Size) by Tom Tucker

I have two on each side to help me reach the trunk on my topper on my 2018 F-150 6 berth, 5. During my research it wasn't clear if this would fit on an F-150 with a 6.5 bed. The AMP installation guide (as of November 2018) shows that it only fits the 5.5 (short) bed F-150. I called AMP and they said I need a 79412-01A BedStep2 install kit for a 2015 Ford F-150 with a 6.5" bed. Well I can assure you that this is NOT necessary and this bedside table is simple and easy to install with everything you need right in the box. The steps are sturdy and feel strong (I'm 220 pounds and they feel solid) and unfold and pack incredibly easily. Totally happy with the move and my only complaint is AMP's ambiguity regarding the install.
