The "dark" version of my Shoei RF-1400 didn't suit me. This visor is VERY lightly tinted. It helps on sunny days but can be a bit darker as I squint when it's very sunny outside. The shade of this visor is very soft, which allows me to ride at night without any problems. I've included a picture of the inside of the helmet in case anyone finds it useful (the visor is half-closed to make it easier to compare without a helmet). visor/tint) Installation: Installation is very easy and only takes a few seconds. Instructions came with the helmet but if you need further explanation there are plenty of videos online. Overall Rating: I wish it was a little darker than it is, but I'll leave it on.
