I have a white interior and it's dazzling so I wanted to cover it with matte black. I rubbed 3 times with rubbing alcohol and a new microfiber cloth to remove the oil. Followed the instructions and the device went smoothly. I'm a fairly large man capable of exerting large forces on the surface. No matter how hard I squeezed or held it, it always made an unzipping sound. I sealed it with tape to let it dry along with the white interior. After 72 hours of curing at 75 degrees, I drove to the grocery store. I went shopping for about 45 minutes and the cabin went up to 95. The ABS literally twisted and warped and completely ripped off the white dash despite the duct tape. I contacted support and explained what had happened and told them my interior was white and asked why they didn't provide an adhesion promoter. Did they say it might damage the tree? Wood is also plastic. Yes, white is denser, but that should make it stick better. They gave me a $5 loan without explanation. I sent it back and Revain immediately replaced it. This time I try to use the adhesion promoter again and hope that it doesn't warp. I seriously do not recommend this to anyone who does not have extensive knowledge of automotive self-tape installation.
