Review on Motorad MGC 907 Locking Fuel Cap by Bobby Valadez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Leaks and costs me a repair at the dealer!

Well I just got back from the dealership where I was told the 'service required' and 'check engine' lights came on due to a leaking gas cap and Because it wasn't a stock cap, it was out of warranty and I had to pay them $100 to reinstall my old cap to reset the light. What is POS. $100 at the dealer and paid for two days (when my hubs came in from work to take me to work and then today to go to the dealer and leave it there all day). Think twice. A full tank of gas in my small car costs about $25. I've lost several hundred because of this little cap.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
