disappointed, wait, never mind!
I was writing a scathing one star review when everything changed. In two of the SEVERAL one star reviews, they talk about how when they go through their SETTINGS and try to connect to Planet 9 via Bluetooth, their phones say "Planet 9 is not supported" and then completely off their Bluetooth list disappearing thing happened to me for HOURS. until I watched a YouTube video of someone browsing the lamp and he skipped the device settings entirely and went straight to the Divoom app. In the app he went to SETTINGS > DEVICE and it connected automatically. My iPhoneXR does not have this option. However, in the iPhone app, if you press CUBE and then SCREEN with a + sign in the top left corner, it will automatically connect! It literally took me hours to figure this out, so I hope this review helps someone! I still have to give four stars for how difficult it was when the instructions/application could have been clearer.
