This is an AMAZING thing. For the price compared to Kitchenaids prices this whisk is worth the money. I use this item twice as much as the single ended that came with the blender. I highly recommend it. I could really use more than 1 of these in my kitchen. It's plastic, not metal. But it's a very strong thick plastic that works great in a blender. I've seen reviews where some of these details break down. To be honest I have no idea HOW this can be done. They may need to adjust mixer settings, but they don't realize this before using this item. I HAD NO PROBLEM. I suggest you check the attachment in the bowl before running the blender with the attachment used. There should always be some space below. The nozzle must NOT touch the bottom of the bowl. This will damage the blender, bowl or attachment. Happy Mixing!
