I actually used them to mount a flashlight on a disc golf cart. At first I was disappointed that they were all plastic and the orange parts were not yet installed in the clamps. After repeated use, these clips hold up very well! I like the adjustable strap. This really allows you to mount them on lanterns and milestones of different sizes. To keep the orange internals of the clip from dangling when opening the clips, I left them tightly locked on the disc golf cart and flashlight. A few days later I opened the clamps and the orange inner clamps stayed in place for a long time due to the intense pressure. I would still recommend being careful when opening the clips though. The inside handles can easily come off. Another characteristic of the orange inner grips is that they are not very grippy! Even with the tightest tension, the clamps slide easily on the rack they are mounted on. I haven't had much trouble with this as it requires a bit of strength from your hand, but I just figured it would be better. Bikers trying to use this will definitely have trouble with this shifting when hitting bumps. You can only tighten an all-plastic clamp so tight. In general, note that everything is plastic, the orange parts don't stick very well and roll off you, they're pretty solid for the price and are made of plastic, and they're very versatile and comprehensive. Overall, I'm glad I tried them and will continue to use them.
