As soon as you open the box you can tell that this is the original - nothing smells like real suede anymore! It's exactly as described - it's soft, smooth and crunchy. When used correctly, it works great. If you have never used it, try this: Soak it thoroughly before using it, and then wring it out thoroughly. Shake it, straighten it, raise it above your head and slam it onto the work surface. Keeping your arms wide apart, pull the suede across the surface so it can be pulled towards you. Move a little further and repeat if necessary. Once the suede is wet enough, stop, wring it out, and continue. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find that you can build a car in just a few minutes. Just fold it up a bit while working on mirrors, taillights, blinds, etc. When you're done, rinse thoroughly, wring well and lay flat to dry. When you use it again you will find that it is hard and made of cardboard; don't worry, this is normal; Simply soak thoroughly until completely wet, wring out and you're done.
