After visiting some online forums I found out that Singer machines have lost their good reputation. They're not like the old cars. I wish I had known earlier. I regret having chosen this car. The problem I had was that firstly right out of the box the entire front loading bobbin case was torn apart e.g. B. not just the spool or the cap but about 4 parts and there was black grease everywhere. I've searched the internet for videos to fix the problem but haven't found anything. I found out after a while. Second, jagged parts protrude from various parts of the machine. He bit me a few times but I'm getting used to it I guess. OK, big problems. The tension is insane. He changes whenever he wants! So annoying! It would be faster to hand sew if I had to rip all those tiny stitches. Like many people, I'm trying to brush up on my skills and stamping masks so the stitches are short. The case is also very busy. I start sewing and after two stitches the needle just stops with the pedal. So I turn the wheel, there is no resistance and the pedal works again. But why does it stop? Then, as I said, the tension changes. The upper thread is also easily untied at the top of the machine. I have to check and rewind it often. But then another problem, every time I turn it over, it kind of knots and doesn't sew properly. It's so annoying that I just don't fix the beginning or end of the seams as usual. At the end I still have to cut out the mess. I have about a day to return it in full. From everything I've collected everyone says Brother or Babylock would be the best choice. I sold my old Singer last year and now I really regret it. They're just not what they used to be, at least in this price range. I think this M2100 was cheap at $109, but I expected it to at least cover the basics. I'm just trying to give you guys an honest warning. Edit: I also wanted to add that not all the accessories listed or the dust cover are included.
