Review on πŸ”§ Green Weller Xcelite NN7776VN Long Nose Plier for Better SEO by Eric Chapman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I *LOVE* these pliers

I was looking for a pair of thin nosed pliers as the ones I have been relying on is quite old. I was hoping for thinner tips ( about 1mm x 1.5mm at a tip) but for my purposes (layout and working with small electronic parts) they are great. The tip is slightly banked (maybe 0.25mm) but considering the low cost I agree, and it wasn't a problem. They close cleanly and provide a good grip on the tip (although sometimes the tips are misaligned. To that end, applying torque to them while they're being compressed hard results in a Misaligned but despite this they still compress pretty well. Therefore, I still give it five stars for "value for money" compared to much more expensive pliers (which incidentally also have a tip offset on the Anzi (If you want a good pair of pliers WITHOUT serrated bottoms, the Channe llok E50S pliers are a good choice, although they have narrower "teeth" that make them slightly weaker and less grippy.)

Pros
  • Jaw length 2-5/16"
Cons
  • Quick instructions
