Review on 🔥 Mushkin Reactor 480GB SSD - High-Speed Internal Solid State Drive - SATA III - 6Gb/s - MLC - 7mm - MKNSSDRE480GB by Andy Quade

I rarely write product reviews, but this time I had to. First of all, I ordered this SSD (Mushkin REACTOR) according to the reviews on several websites and people's reviews. However, there is a "hidden" place in this particular SSD that I want to mention. Mushkin REACTOR is available in two versions! One is in the reviews that comes with Micron's 16nm MLC NAND and has "good" read/write speeds and IOPS, and the other comes with an UNKNOWN brand of NAND (not even sure if it's MLC) and has almost half the read/write speed and IOPS and probably garbage. It's not fair that Mushkin sells these two different versions with different features under the SAME NAME! I still can't figure out how to use the same name for another product? Isn't it illegal? Even Amazon has photos of the "good" version on its list of "bad" versions. So how do you define a "good” version? To get a "good" version with Micron NAND, you need to look for models. 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities. These are older models that may have been discontinued but perform well and are likely to be more reliable. Avoid the 120GB, 250GB, 500GB, and 960GB versions which, while newer, have unknown NAND and very slow speeds. I think there are many people who have been fooled like me and still believe they have Micron NAND on the drive. Final Thoughts: I would not recommend this SSD other than the fact that it is one of the slowest on the market right now. , this clearly shows the unfair market policy of such a well-known brand as Mushkin.IP.S. : I have already contacted Mushkin twice but they never replied. I hope they will reply one day because I want to hear what they have to say about it.
