This product is as advertised. It's sort of a replacement for the crappy original. Really, Saab, plastic? I have to speak up here, because Saab is long gone. If I could find METAL replacements, well wow. I would pay 3 times more for it. Be that as it may, these things (ie the originals) break at low temperatures (-12 degrees Celsius) - I've read that quite a few Saab owners change them preventively every few years. Why, Saab, why? Yes, and on the same car, the plastic part of the heater fan failed, which caused a lot of noise and vibration. After watching a YouTube video about replacing this part, it stays broken.
