Review on HQMaster Lettering Graphtec Cutting Plotter by Rob Kerr

However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find that over half of these blades...

We have been cutting card stock on our Silhouette machines for over 6 years. We bought them to fill our CB-09 blade holders (we keep 4 in the shop). My guess was that all of these blades were made the same way. We had to make some adjustments to these blades to get them cutting properly (which is fair considering they aren't all the same height). However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find that over half of these blades would chip/dull after just a few cuts. This resulted in a lot of wasted material, a lot of frustration and a lot of wasted blades. Every 4th or 5th blade held up as expected and we continued to use it until it dulled. But even at their best, these blades couldn't compete with the previous CB-09 replacements we've had. In comparison, the previous set of knives we bought lasted a full year. That wasn't enough for half a day. In short, we will not buy HQMaster again.
