They are a great addition to my kitchen. I collect mason jars and I end up with so many, and having young grandkids with the occasional open jar is not a good idea. I bought them and everyone likes to use them. I can put my stone jars to good use now. One of my grandsons is now able to take his drink with him because when the lid is properly placed on the can there is no leakage. My grandkids love that they came with a carabiner. You carry them with you. Now I can also use my glasses as shakers. I took some shaker balls from plastic shaker cups (and I don't use plastic but got them with a health prescription) and put them in some glasses and now I have a shaker and a supplement shaker. I also keep mine half and half in one with one of these tops. Just lift the lid and pour into my coffee. As I said earlier, using these lids with your everyday jars opens up a whole new way of using them. Not just for canning now. If you enjoy using glasses, they will make a great addition to your collection. You'll be able to use your stone jars on a whole new level. We love ours and will be ordering more
