I typically use a three monitor setup in my office, but have decided to have a second monitor to keep in my setup bag when working at a client site. I wanted the screen to be light, sharp and clear, and easy to set up, so I took it with me to try it out. The screen is sharp and clear. 1080p on a 15 inch screen has the same pixel density as my laptop. Works great in both portrait and landscape modes, no auto detection so you have to change it in OS if you want to rotate it. Initially there was a detection problem (default 640x480). ), but since then in 1080p. Viewing angles are good, colors remain consistent even when viewed far off center, claims it's IPS and looks partial. . The weight with the case is about 2.5 pounds, which is what you want as it's also a stand, but the case weighs just under 1 pound. Compares very well to trying to carry around a full-size monitor. The case is a protective shell that is held in place magnetically at the front and back when you turn it on. It's fairly safe from a full fall, but doesn't offer bottom-to-top padding in portrait mode in a pocket. So keep that in mind. My laptop bag has some padding on the inside, it should be fine there. As a stand, the case works well as long as you place it on a flat surface and hold the case properly - one side is in. and a softer greyish and grippier and another that is blacker and smoother and if you put it on the wrong way round it looks like it's attached but doesn't work at all. I was a little embarrassed the first time I took the cover off and put it back on the wrong way round. Other than that, it's a pretty standard magnetic tablet case/stand. However, it attaches with magnets ONLY, so it's pretty easy to unintentionally detach it unintentionally, if you turn it at all while moving it in its standing position. Connectivity is mostly USB-C. It has two connectors, one for power only, the other for signal or signal and power. My Latitude E5570 can be powered over Thunderbolt/USB-C using the same cable as the video signal. So just one USB C to C connector in your pocket and quick plug and unplug is perfect. A micro HDMI cable and a separate power bank and USB AC cable for power will come in handy a couple of times a year when I travel for fun and I'd like to take this with me with the Xbox - but it won't be my main use be and keep the controller while keeping the correct distance for this to work wouldn't be ideal. He has a speaker. The volume and quality doesn't compare well to my laptop's speakers, it's more of a flagship feature. I have no intention of using them. It also comes with a plastic protective film ready to install. At this size, that's almost impossible.
