They are a good weight the scissors needed a quick sharpening but they took it well and now they are good and sharp the patina is a little uneven but they look pretty good.The needle case was a little short for it's intended use, I was planning to use it to hold darning needles for weaving ends into jerseys and my favorite variety is too long.ad hoc.The thimble fits well and the bodkin is very pretty. The awl is very sharp but has a little bit of residue on it. It came promptly with an alcohol swab. The case is just a cheap plastic box and bubble wrap. I had put on a foam lined one eidete can I've seen elsewhere. But this one was reasonably priced and arrived the next day after ordering. Overall I'm happy with the set, a little disappointed, the case isn't any better, but I got what I wanted.
