Yes they are easy to install. Lol That's not a problem, the problem is they don't generate much around the bin, the dirt falls outside the filter and gets into the vacuum cleaner and falls out too. Poor sealing of the canister greatly reduces suction power. Saving is definitely not worth it. Buy a genuine Shark brand filter.
