I have some old "Life" magazines that I wanted to hang on the wall. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on making a special frame. I considered several points that might work. I read the reviews and some of the good reviews included some very negative ones. I finally decided to purchase MCS Magazine Display and hoped for the best. The display is very nice and the floating aspect really adds to the brightness. There are no instructions, but after examining the product, you can understand how to assemble it. The end result, of course, is that you have a sheet of plastic that clips into the magazine to hold it in place. A rectangular seal runs along the edge of the inner part of the frame, which also fixes the magazine in the frame. There are clamps along the edges of the frame which are loosened and then placed over the edges of the spacer. The screws are tightened and the magazine is locked and in place. My magazine was about 125 pages, which pushed the seal out of the frame significantly. But I was still able to attach the clips to the spacer. There is no slippage and the magazine has a floating effect as advertised. Now I'm buying one for an old collector's newspaper, folded in half, with a larger frame. The price is very cheap considering that you would have to pay for a project in a special framework. Trust me it looks great and the magazine fits very well. If you have many items. I would suggest buying a frame. Try it and see how it works. Also measure your item to make sure it fits. Once you get the frame. Please take your time and work with it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Also, read a good portion of the reviews. Some of the initial 5 star reviews for this product describe some minor issues very well. I have sold and will be buying more for the remainder of my periodic collection. enjoy shopping.
