There was a crack on the bottom of the frame which I didn't notice until my son opened it up as a gift! Also, it was very difficult to adjust the tabs on the rear when the backrest was removed and reattached after the magazine was installed. However, since the prongs are so complex, they will likely remain very strong and hold the magazine in place perfectly!

Not good for thick magazines like New Yorker as is (because this frame only has a thin plastic backing) I had to buy a cheap frame (same size) to use the glass behind the New Yorker. I had to discard the black wood padding and then secure it with black construction paper to hide the protrusions. Generally a real problem unless you are using very thin magazines or photography.

Bought three as a gift for my husband to frame three of his magazines. They look great but have burrs, scratches, dents and missing paint. Second, you pay for what you get. They don't hold magazines properly. They are not suitable for all magazines. It's terrible to get magazines. I would spend money to get a higher quality product if you really want to present items beautifully.

This is not an advertised magazine. Yes I see people trying to fix reviews by saying people don't know what they are doing but that is a lie. If you try to put a brace on the outside of the plexiglass like I did, you have to apply so much pressure that the plexiglass breaks, which has happened to me in many places. As mentioned earlier, the packaging of this product is excellent. However, the lack of quality control leaves a lot to be desired. In doing so, I encountered two problems. First the sheet shown, mounted inside the frame, is glued to a transparent sheet (I doubt it's plexiglass, too pliable) as are the mounting screws on the other side. Universal frame. Customizable. Holds anything from a single sheet of paper to a standard sized magazine. However, I'm deducting a star from the rating because the demo paper was stuck to the clear plastic and the tape left marks that were difficult to peel off.
