Review on 🖼️ White MCS 11x14 Inch Float Frame for Displaying Magazines (46646) by Cherie Crawford

First some basic information: I am an amateur photographer and recently one of my photos was published in a local magazine. To commemorate this, I wanted a nice, professional looking frame in which to display the issue of the magazine with my photo alongside the canvas print of the photo. After reading some of the negative reviews about Revain I was hesitant. but decided to try this frame. In the end I figured if it doesn't work or it's not what I expected then Revain is great for a comeback so why not right? So he went to the basket and checked. A few days later it arrived exactly as described. No fuss, no fuss. To the people who say there's no room for a magazine in this frame - are you really even trying?! The magazine I framed wasn't a large magazine, but it was at least 70 pages long (not counting the thicker covers) and fitted perfectly. Sure, it's a little tight, but since it's a transparent floating rim, you want it to be comfortable so your magazine doesn't dangle between the layers of the rim. To be honest, some kind advice - as long as your magazine is around 80 pages or less (this is a rough estimate here), I sincerely think you'll be fine and won't have too much trouble finding a magazine - just ignore the other reviews. Whine about it here. As mentioned in some other reviews, yes, one side (front) is glass and the other (back) is clear plexiglass/plastic. This is because with two panes of glass you wouldn't have the ability to accommodate magazines of different thicknesses and it would only cause the glass to shatter. In the case of Plexiglas, this is enough to allow magazines of different thicknesses to fit in the frame, but still gives tension between the layers to hold it in place. To be honest, since the plexiglass is on the back of the frame, you won't even notice it from the front. It's not that the company is cheap, it's that they are smart and make a product that works for you. A tip for securing the back: work diagonally; Example: close the top left tab, then the bottom right tab. Repeat the process around the frame until it is complete. The only thing I found a bit odd is the fact that they don't mount the outboard hardware to the frame - instead it's in a small plastic bag taped to the frame. They do pre-drill holes for the hardware on the back of the frame, though, so it's not really a huge job, just a little odder than anything else. I also don't know if this is the case for everyone or if it was just an accident for me, but I also had 2 sets of gear in my bag, a total of 2 plates with screws and 4 screws. Hey free hardware, I won't complain about that! However, it's worth noting that this frame measures about 12" x 15" including the hem, so it doesn't show an open magazine - just the covers. I suppose if you really want only one page to be shown you could open the magazine and frame it like that. but it can be a bit difficult. Overall, I highly recommend this frame! It holds the standard magazine perfectly and does a great job of displaying it in style. I am very happy with this frame and look forward to purchasing more in the future if the need arises. - Look at the photos; I've included a photo of the frame for reference -
