Works as intended in bathroom
Everything works as intended so far. Be sure to clean the tile/wall you are attaching the retainers to with a small amount of acetone or 91% alcohol (rubbing alcohol works in a pinch but does contain a small amount of oils). Allow the surface to dry completely (usually less than a minute) and attach the holders. I pretended they were 3M type and held them in place for a full minute and then allowed them to dry for half an hour before attaching the curtain rod. All in all they do what they promise and only time will tell if they hold up.
