Revainrating 4 out of 5

Had to mess around with Linux Mint to get it working, but it's pretty easy to fix.

I used this on a Lenove ThinkCentre M77 running Linux (the latest version of Mint is 18.2 I believe). I had an issue with Linux detecting Panda, but I followed the instructions here to get it working: https://puolanka.info/goto/bluetooth-settings/ The Panda device itself has 5 stars ( works great for streaming music to my stereo (receiver is in my shop) but the starting rating of 4 reflects the Linux issues I've had. It took me about an hour to figure out and change the bluetooth manager on my computer. When that didn't work, I emailed Panda Support. In the meantime, while waiting for an answer from Panda, I fixed the problem with BT from the Linux side. About 10 minutes after I got it working, Mark from Panda replied to my email and I explained what I had done. He thanked me for the information. So 5 stars for the device, but if you're using Linux, you might need to do some extra work.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Poor set
