Lock mount works great. I fixed it in a vertical position. Very durable and not too heavy. I have an e-bike so I use an automatic lock, a cable lock and a weird folding flat lock. If you can figure all this out and steal my bike, you deserve it. The Titanker was criticized for its mount. I think it's awesome. The mount allows me to rotate the lock outward to release it from the bike, allowing me to mount it where I don't have to worry about vertical clearance. Brilliant design. Use it every day for 6 months. There are no problems with the clasp and attachment. (I think they fixed the mounting bracket issue.) For those having trouble with the locks or brackets, I say "use a little lube from time to time", even Dollar Tree lube wears plenty help hold your bike, including locks.
