🚲 Titanker U Lock Bike Lock 14.7mm - Heavy Duty Shackle Secure Locks for Road and Mountain Bikes with 4 Feet Cable, Mounting Bracket Review

Bought to lock some bikes outside my apartment. Seems like hard work. The cable is long enough to securely tie 2 bikes through the frame and front rim. Setting up a combination is easy with the right guidance. I can't comment on the weather resistance (locked under a staircase in a covered hallway) or durability with regular use. I also don't plan on using a bike mount to travel with it.

I bought this to keep my snow thrower safe as I no longer have a garage. It comes with a 6 foot rubber coated braided steel cable, a quick release bracket to store the lock when not in use and the lock itself, and screws to mount all the included hardware. There's even a keyhole cover to protect it from the elements and hide it a bit. a good deterrent of course, I recommend.

The lock itself is of good quality but the bracket broke with little or no fuss during installation. Felt cheap plastic is a little rotten so broke it without even applying force to it (the lock wasn't fastened). Only buy this if you don't care about the mount. EDIT: I was able to get in touch with Titanker and they said they would send the issue to the manufacturer for further investigation and improvement. I received a partial refund to compensate for a defective mount.

You can call it a gravity assist cable bike lock - no one will steal your bike as long as this bike lock is... rod locked or not. Because that thing is super heavy. Even reviews of the most expensive U-locks have cut or broken photos of them, so it seems no lock can save your bike from a determined thief. This one seems very solid and so far is easy to lock and unlock. I park on the beach in Los Angeles so I really appreciate the little detail that you can cover to protect the keyhole from rust and sand. Lock mount works great. I fixed it in a vertical position. Very durable and not too heavy. I have an e-bike so I use an automatic lock, a cable lock and a weird folding flat lock. If you can figure all this out and steal my bike, you deserve it. The Titanker was criticized for its mount. I think it's awesome. The mount allows me to rotate the lock outward to release it from the bike, allowing me to mount it where I don't have to worry about vertical clearance. Brilliant design. Use it every day
