Review on 🚲 Titanker U Lock Bike Lock 14.7mm - Heavy Duty Shackle Secure Locks for Road and Mountain Bikes with 4 Feet Cable, Mounting Bracket by Marc Hawkins

The lock itself works well (albeit not very well - a little binding at times) but the fastening system is absolutely terrible. I bought it about five or six months ago and was immediately skeptical because I felt like every time I removed the lock I would break the locking mechanism. The problem is that the red lever is tiny and hard to push, and if you don't push it all the way down the lock won't open properly (in fact, sometimes it gets stuck even if you push it). This means it takes a fair amount of force to remove the lock. Also, the mount doesn't actually stay on the bike (it slips and twists even if you tighten the mount bolts). Yesterday the inevitable happened and the locking mechanism broke when I tried to remove the lock. Then I tried to undo the lock to use it and the whole mechanism just broke in half (it's made of brittle plastic). So now I have a decent padlock that the broken remains of a crappy bike mount will cling to until I find a way to cut/break the rest. I would strongly advise against this purchase - the lock is ok; the fit is just terrible. EDIT: Titanker contacted me after I posted this review, told me they were looking for an improvement on the design, and gave me a partial refund to make up for a non-working lock mount. One star for good customer service!
