Hi Motorcyclist is back in business with another review. It didn't work, I only lost $8. I decided to try it out on my new C4 Corvette that I just bought. KP, I haven't driven this car for two and a half years and even in the shade of the sun the plastic inside has faded and become very brittle. I have used this product and found it to be very good at masking faded blacks and also reinforcing brittle plastics. With the heat gun set low, I found it worked very well for corners and curves. As someone else said patience is the name of the game when using heat as this stuff will melt right before your eyes ask me how I know! Also remember that the surface you are working with has to be very clean to get a good pen. I used isopropyl alcohol, 91% to get a nice clean finish. As a great man once said, "Proper planning in advance keeps P*$s from performing poorly." Incidentally, someone has complained about the vinyl roll being difficult to unroll or having other flaws. Well mine did that too and all I did was heat it up with a hair dryer and it straightened out straight away. Anyway I have big doubts about this product and it looks really good on my C4 dashboard. I just ordered another roll to finish my interior Tony aka The Motorcycle Man.
