Much more durable and stylish than traditional disposable plastic or cardboard plates. Please note that they are made from palm leaves, so there may be variations in color and texture. Some of them might look "dirty," but none of mine were actually dirty. These are by far the nicest disposable plates I've ever used. Throw them in our compost which was a lot better than throwing more trash in the bin. These packets came in flimsy plastic packaging, which I thought was reasonable and very little waste, especially compared to the amount of waste you would generate using plastic (or coated paper) plates instead. Definitely recommend them.
