I was tossing between a stabilizer kit and this rocker ball and gave Kurt a call and they were fantastic. We looked at many options, including options for a hitch with a built-in swing. If you don't currently have sway issues but would like to feel less when going over bumps and stopping, this is a great option. Now you also need to make sure you have the right hitch in place so the towed implement is level. Note that this ball adds about 1 inch more for the rocking mechanism, once you're level you can add this to most short shots. Torque correctly to 250lbs and remember to lubricate before use as it is not prepackaged. Kurt now sells a pull pin hitch to also eliminate gearing and chassis noise when stopping and driving. I can only recommend this seesaw. big difference in comfort and noise reduction when traveling. I'm not sure how long the lube will last in the device, so I'd suggest checking before long trips or monthly, depending on usage. hope this helps answer some questions. but when I'm not calling Kurt, they really have played a key role in gathering all of my data.
