Works great, makes a difference when towing. Less shock, current and vibration. I said that a boat from Florida to Maryland and a trailer from Florida to Virginia and back makes a noticeable improvement.

I can't believe the difference in towing my trailer. No more jerking and pressing. Good soft pull. The only problem is that there should be a cap at the bottom of the ball to cover the oiler. It's too vulnerable to road debris and anything it can hit while driving.

Well I put the ball on and it lifted my trailer so you may need to use a different bracket. The only thing I can say is that it works, but at first it scared me because it made a thud when I stopped and said, but otherwise everything was fine. Now it's rusting, most of the chrome is coming off

Wings that were supposed to fall off either side of the hitch ball mount bent when torque was (properly) applied during installation. RockerBall is useless now. It is not on the axis of the car and is unsafe. Of course, the lock washer will bind and the nut won't loosen, so the ball hitch mount is useless as well. I have contacted Curt support for a replacement or refund and am awaiting a response from them. I will update this review if/when the issue is resolved.

I received this ball hitch hoping it will work as advertised. But it actually twitched a lot more than my standard 2-inch ball hitch. I don't know if it was just broken, but after the first tow I went back and checked to see if it was properly tightened and properly seated, which it was. I rented a 12ft U-trailer for commuting and even when loaded it tended to make a lot of noise to do, and you could feel it twitching around your back. I bought a hitch tensioner which helped but didn't eliminate the constant shaking and noise in the rear when the trailer hits bumps. I just drove 3,600 miles round trip from Oklahoma to the east coast of Florida pulling a two wheeled tow truck with a 3,000 pound car attached. I was tossing between a stabilizer kit and this rocker ball and gave Kurt a call and they were fantastic. We looked at many options, including options for a hitch with a built-in swing. If you don't currently have sway issues but would like to feel less when going over bumps and stopping, this is a great option.
