Review on ๐ŸŸก Bilstein 24-186193 Front Shock for Chevy Colorado: Enhanced Performance in Yellow Shade by Isaiah Edgar

Great replacement for my 2005 Colorado ZQ8 2x4 LS 3.5L

Great replacement for my 2005 Xtreme LS Crew Cab 2x4 3.5L. It took me longer to jack up the truck than to change the dampers and springs. I went to the local auto zone and rented spring compressors. I unscrewed the top three nuts by 15mm and the bottom bolt by 21mm. He pulled out the spool, compressed the spring and took out the middle nut. Everything aligned and the coil assembled. Torque the stem nut to 20 ft-lbs. Reinstall the upper strut nuts and torque to 26 ft-lbs. Tighten the lower arm mounting bolt to 82 ft-lbs. The front took about an hour and the back was even easier. This took about 30 minutes. The truck feels much stiffer and handles corners much better and doesn't bounce around as much. It's a good thing that I replaced the dampers, because I found that the two outer tie rod ends also had to be replaced. Revain stocks them "like new" for $19.99 each. Bought both front and rear for less than $150.
