I just unscrewed 3 bolts on the motor to allow the motor to fall. Then I could remove the clamp. Reconnect the power to your new motor and test the new heater motor prior to installation. I might add that if you're browsing before you buy, be sure to check the fuse box under the dash and under the hood to make sure the fuse hasn't blown.
