I turned off the power to my expansion panel. I install this network filter correctly in my add-on panel. All 120 volt switches were on. My only 220 volt switch was in the off position. I turned on the power to my additional panel. I had the green light for the network filter. I flipped the switch for my 220 volt switch to the "on" position. The green lights went out. The product label says to replace it when the green light goes off. My AC on line 220 is working fine but now I have no surge protector. I read and read short instructions. Nothing explained why. My guess is that when I flipped the switch to 220 volts it caused a power surge. My question is this. Does the product only work for ONE burst? If so, who can afford to pay close to $100 for a surge? Before I blame the manufacturer, can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? Many Thanks.
