Review on Poly Planar 211406 MA3013 Speaker White by Ahmed Rowe

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for for my application. We have hot tubs with upward-firing speakers that have not survived damage from water ingress in 10 years (although they are "waterproof" speakers). I was looking to buy four new Caldera 73926 speakers to replace exactly and they cost over $50 each. Not good. Especially for the speakers which I know will soon fall apart again. (Also, I could only find them in one place online.) I've compared and tried all sorts of other speakers on Revain. They fit my 2 7/8 inch speaker holes perfectly, have the exact same metal pins required for wiring our hot tub, and they sound just as good as the old ones. Sound. No, they don't have an amazing base, but I wouldn't expect that from a speaker of this size. Personally, if you mount them towards the back of the boat and hope your water skier will be inspired by the music, I wouldn't turn them up high enough for the skier to hear the music far above the noise of the motorboat. Chances are the speakers will explode. However, because of the size and price, they are amazing. They don't sound tinny at all, and the sound actually got a lot richer when I put them in my closet.
