This articulating arm feels solid and well designed. I received the delivery quickly, in fact a few days earlier than expected. Mounting the mount is easy if you just take your time. and cut/drill correctly the first time. I had to splice about 5 inches of wire at the splice because I didn't have enough slack in the trailer wiring to make the bend. I recommend soldering the wires and then silicone coating the connections if it's a boat trailer. Finish with a loom tube to protect against rubbing. I have a trailer jack next to the hook. This product will not support your boat/cargo trailer in storage mode if you do not support the main trailer before rotating back the folding tongue. The jack must be mounted behind the bracket. I prefer to have my jack in front of the swivel mount so I just built a trailer stand that I lower the trailer frame onto and then fold the tongue out of the way with no load. (I hope this description makes sense) I think this product is a winner and I have benefited from the garage space it has given me.
