This articulating arm feels solid and well designed. I received the delivery quickly, in fact a few days earlier than expected. Mounting the mount is easy if you just take your time. and cut/drill correctly the first time. I had to splice about 5 inches of wire at the splice because I didn't have enough slack in the trailer wiring to make the bend. The brackets themselves are very strong and should last for many years. The fit to my 3x3 tongue wasn't exactly snug, but it was quite snug. If I can blame that part of the assembly, it's that I want it to extend a little to every part of the language. Each piece can be an inch longer and the mounting holes are much further apart.
