I'm building a camper trailer so we can easily go on trips without having to pack a car every time. The problem is that the garage also stores "stuff" so I couldn't take everything with the trailer. I asked a local shop to cut off the tongue and add an additional 3 feet of steel tubing to this loop, giving me 6 feet of tongue total. This means I can load my 17ft canoe onto a trailer and have plenty of room in the back of the car. And when not in use, it's only 8 feet long for stowing in your garage among lawn mowers, trimmers, mulches, coolers and more. A great idea!
