So to be honest our pendant had to be a certain length and needed some adjustments. I can't comment on the installation of this unit as our friend from the body shop did all the work for us. However, it is easy to use and works as expected. I didn't notice any difference between mounting it on a trailer or before, except that the trailer was 23ft long and can now fit in a 20ft garage! Overall happy with it but can't imagine how easy/difficult it was. To install. Easy operation after installation. Be sure to move the trailer jack and wheel to the non-rotating part for easier moving.
