Review on 6ft Surge Protector Power Strip with Individual Switches and 2 USB Ports (2.4A/1875W), 5 Outlet Extension Cord with Surge Protection, Long 6ft Cord, Wall Mountable – Ideal for Home Office (Black) by Marco Cervantes

It has a great design

What I like is that it's metal and doesn't tip over. I also like the design of the cord, the length and the fact that each plug turns on and off individually. What I didn't understand or read in other reviews is that the USB on/off switch powers all ports. I like that it doesn't require a USB device to be plugged in for this to work (as is the case with my other low power power strips which require a powerful device like a computer to activate the other outlets). Haven't tried mounting the device yet, but I like that it's possible. I've noticed that there aren't enough standard extension cords for one or two plugs. I also have to assume that there is surge protection on each plug. What I don't like is the case, which at the beginning of the device seems like a waste of space. There are no hassles turning the switches on and off, and there's an option to leave them all on. In fact, this is an energy saving device with the best design I have ever seen. I haven't tested the activation ability and I know for sure if it's Phong or not. I know what it doesn't have is a damage guarantee like some other power strips that offer over voltage. Is it surge protection? Hopefully.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • is embarrassing
