As previously reported, they work great if you follow two simple guidelines. you have to make it flexible. I took and heated a cup of water in the microwave like I was making tea (2 minutes max). I took and put the end of the ring in a cup of hot water for about 1-2 minutes. Pulled out and pulled on the fork with no problem. Total time to put it on the fork was about 10 seconds after it warmed up and became flexible. Secondly, please understand that the fork with the lid should NOT be stored upside down, if you do this, ask for trouble. because the water just runs down the lid into your fork and your fork will be ruined if you leave it like that. So remember to always store the connector face up with the cover on, this protects the pins of your connector. Hope that helps.
